The steps in this article were performed on a Google Pixel 4A using the Android 10 operating system. Step 1: Swipe up from the bottom of the Home screen. Step 2: Choose the Google option. Step 3: Tap the More button at the bottom-right of the screen. Step 4: Choose the Settings option. Step 5: Select Google Assistant. Step 6: Scroll down and choose the General option. Step 7: Tap the button to the right of Google Assistant. Step 8: Touch the Turn Off button.
